Parents,
This morning we ate breakfast and sang the "5 Little Monkeys" song, but instead of 5 monkeys, we had 11 monkeys jumping on the bed! We worked on our farm theme puzzles, counted different amounts of frogs on lily pads, and made silly faces with our magnetic eyes, noses, and mouths. We also played Feelings Bingo, where the bingo cards were made up of different emotions! During circle time, we decided that it was sunny outside, and placed the big yellow sun over our tree, and we counted to the number 23. Our dancing and movement leader chose to sing "Baa Baa Black Sheep," and he showed us what motions to do. We went outside with Pre- K and played on the playground. For story time, we read "Duck On A Bike," about a duck who showed all of the other farm animals how to ride a bike! During centers, we made our own yellow ducks with feathers, and we played in the big block center with farm animals. We also had speech with Ms. McGuire today. We went to lunch with Pre-K and then we went outside with them on the big playground. This afternoon, we have an extreme weather drill scheduled, so we will be practicing what to do in case some bad weather comes along.
Have a great day!
Lauren Avots
